Ruins

I love to go exploring whenever I have the chance, which is rarely. There are so many places that you can just happen upon in New York. The most magical areas are always found by mistake. I pass this little park full of columns and moss covered stones every time my aunt and I go to our favorite Italian restaurant, Giulio's, in Yonkers. Giulio is the sweetest man ever, not to mention he makes the BEST penne vodka in the neighborhood. Trust me, I know Italian food.
These columns remind me of ancient ruins...not that I've ever seen any in real life. So I guess it's safe to say they remind me of the pictures I skimmed through in my 8th grade history books. I can't wait till the warm spring days when I'll actually be able to wear long flowy skirts and lay out on the rocks while I re-read my favorite classic novels (is Harry Potter considered a classic yet?).

To dinner I wore this Versace shawl my mom gave me, a vintage faux fur vest, an Obey varsity jacket (On sale now!), and my Urban Outfitters leather backpack featured in last weeks post.

Happy Friday!
